This video/installation explores the outcome of mass violence against children: the need to control, protect, secure, mourn, pay tribute, honor. The drawings used in this piece were created in 2006 as a result of a trip to Central America, where the violence is prevalent, childhood is unlike anything we can imagine and life is very dangerous. The images are haunting, unrelenting reminders of what goes on where we don’t look. Digital video, motion graphics, sound, installation.
