In “Lady of Lake Eden,” thousands of starch based biodegradable peanuts are swept up into the air by fans arranged in a circle. The fans blow the peanuts into a giant pile in the middle of the floor, and are pulled up, dancing around on columns of air like moths circling a light. The peanuts, once aloft, create enough surface to project the mysterious image of the Lady. Sound design by Ryan James. This is an interactive installation and the audience is welcome to enjoy the tactile nature of the peanuts.
